- This is a pretty standard problem here in Hongkong. The problem is
- that the distributor buys the product from the manufacturer. He
- doesn't want to replace it for you until he has received one in turn
- from his supplier. I've been waiting about 5 months now for a hard
- drive to be returned.

- I suggest that the best answer is not to purchase from these
- distributors. Instead I suggest you just go directly to the U.S. and
- buy there. Plus you'll save money. The current price on your modem
- here in Hongkong is about HK$1680 (US$217) while in the U.S. $175 is
- more reasonable.
