  22. This is a pretty standard problem here in Hongkong. The problem is
  23. that the distributor buys the product from the manufacturer. He
  24. doesn't want to replace it for you until he has received one in turn
  25. from his supplier. I've been waiting about 5 months now for a hard
  26. drive to be returned.

  28. I suggest that the best answer is not to purchase from these
  29. distributors. Instead I suggest you just go directly to the U.S. and
  30. buy there. Plus you'll save money. The current price on your modem
  31. here in Hongkong is about HK$1680 (US$217) while in the U.S. $175 is
  32. more reasonable.
